McWhorter is a Vice President at Healthways, a Nashville-based
healthcare company. He lives with his two daughters, Ava (6)
and Ella (4), in Clarksville, TN. Haden joined the 3 Miles of
Men in memory of his mother, Bebe McWhorter, who passed away
in 1995, and his wife, Myra Watts McWhorter, who passed away
in November of 2007 - both from breast cancer. "I lost two of
the most important women in my life and I want to do
everything I can not to lose any more. I want my girls to
grow up and know that they will be safe! Many men have been
touched by this disease in one way or another, and the 3 Miles
of Men initiative is a great way to raise awareness and to
show support."

Upcoming Presidential Election
Guest Speaker:
Dan Spice
Dan Spice is a broadcast journalist,
former talk host, and has served in management positions in broadcasting
on the national
and international scale. He has been a political junkie who has covered
several presidential elections, including the 2008 voting
debacle in Florida. He published a political novel, Opposition
Research: Stealing The White House, with co-author JB Azneer this
summer.
That book traces a fictitious attempt to steal votes in the 2008 election.
Spice and Azneer are currently penning a sequel to Opposition Research.
His website is
www.oppositionresearch.info. He currently resides in the
mountains of East Tennessee.
